It’s time again for Santa Cops and there’s no better way to get in the Christmas spirit than by giving back to the community and helping children have a better holiday season.
Santa Cops is a program that provides toys to economically disadvantaged children in our community. It is organized by the Grapevine Police Department and funded by local donations. Many individuals and groups make contributions to the Santa Cops stockpile of toys as well as help with wrapping and delivering. Last year nearly 1500 children benefited from the Santa Cops toy collections.
You can bring new, unwrapped toys to the Police Department at 307 W. Dallas Road, and there are also drop boxes located in town at the Senior Activities Center, Community Activities Center, Central Fire Station, Waffle House, and City Hall.
Donations are accepted from November 19 until mid-December and cash donations are also welcome. Residents are also encouraged to help with gift wrapping, which will take place on December 2, 7, 9, 14, and 15. The location and time will be announced later.
Become a part of Santa Cops, a 15-year tradition in Grapevine, and get in the true Christmas spirit!
