A while back I wrote a post about the Ole Grapevine Cigar & Tobacco Shop. Well this post goes right in line with them because they are owned by the same people.
The Tap-In is located on Main Street in Grapevine, right next door to the Cigar Shop. The advertise themselves as a “Local English Pub” and I hate to say this, but I don’t find this to be accurate. I’ve been to London pubs, and this one isn’t the exactly the same, but that doesn’t make it less enjoyable.
No, but the Tap-In IS a great place to sit, relax, smoke a cigar or even a good pipe, and have lunch or dinner. They have a Happy Hour for beer and drinks each day, and even on the weekends while the Cowboys are playing. The place does tend to fill up at those times, so I am sure they make some fairly decent bank on those days. And yes, I did say smoke. It is owned by the Cigar Shop owners next door, remember? Grab a fresh cigar from the shop and walk over to Tap-In, sit down a relax with a good smoke and a wide selection of beers on Tap.
Their food is above average as well. On a recent visit, we had some delicious jalapeno poppers (no pic unfortunately) as well as a burger and grilled chicken breast with veggies. See?
The Tap-In is located at:
120 South Main Street
Grapevine, TX 76001
Drop by and tell them that the Grapevine Blog Spot sent you! Heck I might even be there myself, enjoying a good cigar!
