Bold in the Cold a success

We posted just the other day about the upcoming Bold in the Cold 5K/15K race and are happy to report that it was a great success, with a big turnout and a good time had by all.  The weather lived up to its billing, with near-freezing temps at the start of the race.

The 5K had 369 finishers and the 15K had 301.  This is the largest of Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers’ annual races and always has a nice crowd, plenty of people to keep it fun but not so many that it’s impossible to get where you’re going (Rock ‘n’Roll Marathon series, I’m talking to you).

Iron Texas Mommy, a local triathlete, wrote a great race report which you can read here.   It was a great day all around for the runners and volunteers and we look forward to next year.
