Once again, we are writing about a locale in Colleyville rather than Grapevine, but the location is right there on the edge of Grapevine, so it is convenient to most of us.
Hall’s Grocery, a fairly well-known establishment on the cover of Glade Road and Highway 121, is now selling hard liquor. Colleyville passed a law last year, allowing the sale of hard alcohol in its city. I feel this will become very popular in Grapevine and the surrounding cities where you cannot purchase whiskey, scotch, vodka, etc. And the people in Hall’s are very nice. I stopped in there a few weeks back, after they reconstructed most of their indoor area, and picked up a bottle of Irish Cream for my coffee. The place was somewhat disorganized due to the construction and clean-up that was going on, but they were open for business with a steady flow of traffic coming in and going out. A new door now exists just to the North of the original gas station door. Inside here you will find all kinds of hard liquor, wine, beer and of course the usual mixers and non-alcoholic beverages.
Stop by Hall’s Grocery the next time you need something that you think you have to drive to Ft Worth for. Their selection is wide and price is very competitive.
Hall’s is located at the following address:4200 Glade Rd
