I checked out Cassie’s Frozen Yogurt today and may I just say, I waited about a year too long. Oh my goodness, it was awesome. They have a huge following and I can totally see why. Everything you like about yogurt shops, Cassie’s does better.
Everything is self-serve, so you help yourself to whatever you want. You then have your selection weighed and they charge by the ounce, so you can have as much or as little as you feel like.
They have more flavors and toppings than I’ve ever seen before. There are 8-10 flavors of yogurt at a time – when I was there, I saw vanilla, chocolate, red velvet cake, Irish mint, Georgia peach, yellow cake batter, cookies and cream, and others I don’t remember. There are insane choices of toppings as well – several kinds of nuts, tons of fruit (strawberries, blueberries, bananas, pineapple, and others), chocolate chips, M&Ms, brownies, toffee chips, toasted coconut, crumbled cookies, and the list goes on and on.
Check out their machines and the plethora of toppings available:
I had the Georgia peach which I swear tasted just like a peach would in July when they are ripe and sweet. I topped it with toasted coconut and blueberries. YUM. I didn’t fill the cup all the way because I wasn’t THAT hungry and the cups are huge, but I could totally see going there on a date night and sharing a full cup of yogurt.
They also have a loyalty card on which they give you a stamp for every $4 spent, and when it is full (10 stamps), you get a free small yogurt up to $4 value.
I may just have to go back tomorrow and try another flavor. I think that I will never get tired of hanging out here. This is just about the best frozen yogurt you can find around here.
