As many of us know, August is a highly anticipated time in the DFW area with the arrival of KRLD Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants offer a special limited menu for only $35 a person (not including taxes, gratuity or drinks). Included in this is a $7 donation to the North Texas Food Bank. Diners get a chance to try upscale restaurants for an affordable price and while doing so, support a great local charity. What’s not to love?
This past Monday was “Reservation Day” where the list of restaurants was officially unveiled for the first time and restaurants would begin accepting reservations for Restaurant Week. (Actually, I have heard that some restaurants let you get an early start, but Reservation Day is the official kickoff day). If you would like to view the entire list, including restaurant websites and in many cases the actual menu, go here.
Here is a list of the restaurants in Grapevine and the nearby surrounding area that are participating, in case you want to keep it close to home:
Ferrari’s Italian Villa (Grapevine)
Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse (Southlake)
Silver Fox (Grapevine)
What new restaurants are you planning to visit this time around?
