Grapevine wineries team up to host Wine Trail events several times a year. The upcoming Hallo-Wine Trail, to be held on October 29, should be a great event. Seven wineries are participating in the event:
- Cross Timbers
- D’Vine Wine
- Farina’s
- Homestead
- La Bodega
- La Buena Vida
- Su Vino
Tickets are $45 in advance or $50 on the day of the event. This includes a wineglass, three tastes at each winery, food samples at each winery, and a bottle of wine.
We have not yet participated in a wine trail as we always seemed to have a conflict on the day of the event. This time we plan to take advantage, so look out for a full report.
Sometimes these wine trails include shuttle service (that seems to be when Delaney Vineyards participates, since it is located a little distance from downtown Grapevine), but this time that does not appear to be the case, so plan for a designated driver (or a taxi!).
