FOTP Easter at the Pub

Fellowship of the Parks church in Grapevine is hosting an Easter service at O’sheas Pub and Grill, located at 310 Grapevine Hwy in Hurst.  This is right on the Colleyville/Hurst border, up 114 from Grapevine.

We’ve blogged about FOTP before, it is the church that we currently attend, and it is a great group of people.  This service at O’sheas will be the first time we have had any such event at a bar, but I know the church as a whole is excited about seeing the outcome of the event.

Yes, church in a bar! It’s been done before, actually, but not at FOTP and not in the area that I have seen lately.  I attended a few church services in some Deep Ellum bars a few years ago, but I haven’t seen anything like this in or around Grapevine.

O’shea’s isn’t changing their venue for the church service, either.  They will be serving their full menu, and have their full bar open also.  I believe they allow smoking, at least in parts of the establishment, and that isn’t changing either.  So it will be quite an event to see, and honestly one that I am very much looking forward to.

To view more about the event itself, visit  Come out and join us for a chance to drink a beer while having church!
